Steve Key

Steve’s an actor from Chicago, born and raised on the south side.

He developed as an artist in the hard-working theatrical tradition

of the storefront theatres of his hometown and has performed on

and off Broadway, on TV and in Film.
His love of working in the trenches has led him to work in creative processes with writers such as Larry Gelbart, Rebecca Gillman,

Noah Haidle, Samuel D. Hunter, Moises Kaufman, Tracy Letts,

Lynn Nottage, Lucy Prebble and Craig Wright.
Steve lives in New York. He is a former Co-Artistic Director

of Shattered Globe Theatre and is an ensemble member

of American Blues Theater (both in Chicago).
